Smoked Salmon, Goat Cheese & Dill Quiche

How yummy does that look?? I am back and I have lots of posts for you all! I know and I truly apologize how MIA I have been but so much has happened in the past couple weeks I can't even begin to tell you. The hubs and I have officially moved, although we are still trying to sell my townhome. I need everyone to keep their fingers crossed and say a quick prayer that this will in fact sell! Most of my spare time right now is devoted to unpacking and decorating and of course shopping! I always forget how much shopping needs to be done when you move! It is fun but at the same time I oddly feel guilty for spending the money. In the end it will all work out but right now all I keep thinking is "Should I really buy that since I am still paying for the other house as well???" Oh well, what can you do? Shortly after moving in, my neighbors husband passed away, at a very young age, leaving his wife and three young children. Extremely sad situation and I can't even think what it would be like to be in her position but she seems to be doing well and taking it one day at a time. Then let's see what else, my grandfather passed away at the age of 90. He had been fighting a terminal illness for quite some time so we all knew it was coming but it was still very difficult. So with that came a trip to Massachusetts for the wake and funeral and lots of family visits. As you can see, it has truly been a whirlwind! Regardless, I am back and I am ready to cook! I have posts to write to catch up from before the move (like this one) and I have more recent posts to put up as well. AND I have new cookbooks with lots of recipes I want to try and a new shipment of Fine Wines to sample! Yippeee!!! So please stay tuned. I am going to try my best to get at least a couple posts a week until I am settled enough to start writing daily again!
